When visting us, fall in love with the breathtaking landscapes of Hemmingford Township.  Settled originally in 1799 by British Loyalists, Hemmingford was named for a pair of villages in Cambridgeshire, England.  As a standing testimonial to the history of a bygone era and its distinctly European heritage, Hemmingford can be proud to host some of the finestold stone dwellings and school houses still in existence in the Northeast, that date practically from the time of its founding in 1799. It is also home to Hemmingford Golf Course, Hemmingford's Witsend Irish Pub & Restaurant. Various cultural and artistic events including the Circuit des Arts de Hemmingford gallery tour are held annually from May to October.
